Dodged a bolt of lightning by about 10 seconds. Was outside the hangar, watching the clouds roll in when I saw a flash off in the distance, so I stepped inside the hangar. Was barely inside and turned around when a bolt struck about 10yrds from where I had been standing. I've heard some loud thunder, but gawd damn. My ears were ringing. Then today, while out in the smoke pit, my phone (and the others' phones) went crazy with some kind of siren noise. It was a message from the NWS, telling us of a tornado warning, to take shelter. It had just rained, we were enjoying the cooler temps. We looked up...funnel cloud forming. Always fun. Wonder whats next.
