Looking for a job is the most nerveracking thing EVER! I have been sweating palms and losing my MIND just replying to job ads and tweaking my resume to fit each job requirement for every job I applied to. eeech! I even had the odacity to txt msg every single person on my phone today and ask them if they knew of anybody hiring at the moment. I know I'm good for it, but just how desperate do I really want to seem?!! Obviously, VERY. Now, 2 hours later, I feel really bad that I even bothered my friends to help me do something I should really be doing on my own. Too late for that. The only light from this cloud of indignity is that I actually got a shitload of txt msgs back with some places to apply to and offers to drop names at interviews. Made me feel loved and ashamed at the same time.
Desperation calls for heavy contemplation.

and don't feel desperate for asking friends- networking is THE best way to find jobs. otherwise, you research and realize how many things you're *almost* qualified for, and it gets super frustrating.
