Hello, Hola, Ciao, Oi, beautiful ladies and Bros, another Sunday Funday is here. I have exciting news to share with you all. I asked my girlfriend Cat to marry me and she said yes! There was a group FaceTime with my mom and sisters to share the good news. I’ve never seen my mom so happy and my sisters have latched on to Cat like a remora on a shark. She will be a welcome addition to the Carrera family. Our morning bike ride was a little chilly but good, then I made breakfast, we had quinoa, eggs, fresh fruit and cold brewed green tea. Going to watch the Saints/Rams game then I have to go to work(boo) because the closing cook is a bitch who won’t play ball, while our boss is going through cancer treatment. Something I’ll never understand is grown men who act like whiny teenagers. Enough gripes on with the show.
The new Malevolent Creation record is super brutal. The death metal legends offer up a record with amazing guitar tones and relentless blast beats. I’ve been really digging this track
The debut record from Alice Merton is really enjoyable. She crafts expertly balanced indie pop songs. She has a lovely voice and is great composer. This song has been my favorite.
Today’s blog is about the bands and artists that my fiancé enjoys, and I kinda do too. Cat is obsessed with this artist, she listens to it almost everyday. I was resistant at first but he grew on me.
When ever there is a romantic evening at casa Carrera, Cat puts on some Sade. While I light the candles that are all over my apartment. Her eyes fill with desire as soon as the first notes of the song are played.
Cat and I bonded over this next group, we often sing along to it while we ride our bikes down the trail, as we pass joggers who are giving us strange looks.
Cat is obsessed with Panic! At the Disco. I just don’t get it, personally I’ve never thought they were that good. The guy is good looking that’s undeniable. This song is okay
Cat has a Gerard Way bobble head, which cracks me up every time I see it. I really enjoyed their first three albums, Cat only likes The Black Parade. She sings this in the shower sometimes.
Frank Ocean is another favorite of ours. One of the better Odd Future members. We usually put on some Frank Ocean while doing Yoga, is that weird?
Today’s bum is pretty much the bizarro version of my fiancé, she’s a white girl, where as my fiancé is a black woman, they both have similar looks and badass thigh tattoos. The gorgeous @enigmasuicide
