Thank you everyone for the lovely comments on me and Suri's new set. It was super fun to photograph and I still maintain that Suri is the easist model I've ever worked with. She knows what makes her look good, so i didn't have to pose her at all!
She's also an incredibly cool person. I really want her to hurry up and move back to the Bay Area.
In other news, I ditched my trip to NYC (for a number of reasons) and I'm goin' home to Seattle for a few days instead. My brother's band is playin' a show tonight and I'm really jazzed to see him rock out with the rest of his 40 year old bandmates. It'll be a trip.
I went to a karaoke bar in Daly City last night with my current beau, Tina. The bar was straight outta the 50s- And the clientele was all 60+ years old. They took the karaoke REALLY seriously (some people brought their own CDs!) and didn't really know what to make of us younguns. It was an awesome place to people watch- The highlight of the night was seeing a bunch of old couples dancing to Justin Timberlake.
And I spent the night at Tina's. Which was a lot of fun

First- Me and Tina after the "80s Prom Party" we went to last weekend. We were soooo high we could hardly function.
Second- My two finished sculptures in the creepy giant kiln waiting to be fired...

That's a cool picture of you...and the set you shot was definitely well received. I thought it was cool as hell. I hope you're able to shoot more sets that make the front page in the near future. Have fun w/ your family back home...hope your brother's band kicked ass...
