I joined in the international protest day today to fight for immigrants rights. The following are the pictures!

This is Kelly (left) and Jenya (right). I spent most of the day with them.

Lots of businesses closed today- Including this hotdog stand.

At noon we had a big ol' Rally on the steps of Sproul. Lots and lots and lots of people. It rocked.

This is super hot Jenya. I made out with her multiple times on Friday night. It was HOT. Yes, hot.
Then we walked from Campus down University to the bridge over the highway (I think three mile walk. Craziness). When we got to the bridge the cops stopped us. It was interesting being at the front of the protest and approaching a line of cops in riot gear holding large batons.

They wouldn't let us through so we sat down to regroup and show that we werent gonna go easily.
We finally decided to turn around and head to the nearest BART station. But Kelly and I couldnt resist a silly photo infront of the cops.
We then headed over to the city to join the big rally at the Civic Center.

Overall, i had a great time. The cop thing was kinda scary, but cool. We got to SF for free on BART cause they didnt want to deal with lots of angry protesters. I'm burnt to a crisp. Seven hours in the sun = wicked awesome sunburn.
Woo. Anyone else celebrate 5/1?
I saw your post in the SG Photographer Hopefuls group, we should talk!
