It's been a borderline crazy few months. Fucking too many weddings in too short of time I had to go to. However free booze is free booze and the last wedding I went to was cool only because as I pulled into the drive way of the church Judas Priest's "Deal With The Devil" came on my zune, it was a great moment.
Baltimore's DIY show space Charm City Art Space had their 1000th show, they celebrated by having a secret lineup, which made me have to go. Luckily I had a pretty awesome lady with me, we ditched the between band down times for the bar next door. The line up went something like:
the Fun Brigade (local punk cover band) doing an OpIvy set
Caleb Stine
Sick Weapons
Pulling Teeth (doing Vicious Skin from start to finish)
Double Dagger
Fun was had, and Double Dagger put on the best show I've seen them do, up till then I was unimpressed by them.
Fucking HALLOWEEN is coming up! Going to Salem as always, it should be a blast. After October 31, it should shoot back to June 1st because I'm already tired of this cold weather.
Teenage Bottlerocket is playing Baltimore Wednesday, it shall be fun.
Fucking MONTY PYTHON was on Jimmy Fucking Fallen last night. Despite my extreme hate for Fallen I had to watch the show. Python was hilarious as always, and Jimmy....he'd be funnier if a truck hit him. I wish I had recorded the show or something because they rarely appear together anymore, apparently there's a new Monty Python documentary coming out at the end of the month, it's so mine.
That's all for now folks, I just bought $100 worth of horror DVD's off amazon, not to mention the ones I got from WalMart and Best Buy today - I have an addiction. Also not to mention the cool records I keep buying from CSR!
