omg! one week left! what will you DO without me.
things on the job front got all good and shit this week. I landed TWO more interviews, both for jobs that I really actually want. so much so that I actually bought new pants. I guess that doesn't sound like a big deal but I seriously have issues buying pants and somehow the first pair I tried on ended up looking both professional and hot. I guess I'm benefiting from those stretch marks after all.
for the record, I do have an ass, and I've decided that I like it.
I had two tests, a quiz, and a whole bunch of other school-type shit to do on Friday, so I gave myself the weekend off homework. which.. I usually do anyway. I think all I really had to do was read The Tragedy of Mariam or some shit. haven't bought the book yet. hope it's there tomorrow.
next weekend we're taking my cat Charlie home. he was my kitty from 9th grade to high school graduation but when I moved out he stayed with my parents and it's been that way ever since. my parents just decided that the cats are too hard on my dad's breathing issues, so they're giving us Charlie... he's my favorite cat ever. I think it's going to make for a lot of happies.
not that there's not a lot of happies as things stand. shit's pretty good. it's just that maybe having a cat will take away the lingering stench in my soul from having watched Borat this weekend. hoooooooooly crap did that movie bother me.
tonight we played Nintendo Wii for the first time. I approve. anything that allows me to knock out a guy in boxing and get a bowling score of over 100 is pretty cool with me. I mean I knocked the FUCK out of that guy.
yeah. but. so. this Daylight Saving crap is going to render me unable to sleep for a while here and I guess I could benefit from a glance or two at my homework. or maybe I could just go pet my boyfriend. he is good people.
