I think I have a lumpy face.
in a short moment here I am going to have lunch with the guy who wrote the screenplay for House of Sand and Fog. what's fantastic is that eating in front of people makes me REALLY nervous sometimes, and I guess it's exacerbated when the person I'm eating in front of is a screenwriter for a movie I thought was just okay and really should have just stayed in book form. at any rate, I'm fucking TWITCHY right now. small talk? SMALL TALK? the only question I want to ask is, WHY that book? it didn't seem particularly well suited to movie form, so WHY did you DO it.

and stop making fun of my hair. my hair is about 30,000 different lengths, and I had most of it in a ponytail, but fun little short sections came out of the ponytail, and I was like, rock and roll baby.

my dad and brother are going to try to fix my car themselves for significantly less than $1,000. as if you care. as if I can really pretend that I'm interesting.

I can't make fun of your hair. I tried to take half an inch off the back of my own hair to save some dough, and I ended up with some kind of CRAZY AZTEC LEVEL EFFECT. Witness me, the hideous pyramid-head boy, made stupid by my blind frugality and forced to wear hats with reservoir tips.
