I have a job interview tomorrow night at my local campus radio station. The job title is "volunteer coordinator," so I'd basically be in charge of recruiting and training new volunteers. I'd really rather have a job where I wrangle books and ideas instead of people, but I'm feeling pretty desparate. At least I'd be able to wear my own clothes. And they'd teach me to use Mac OS.

I'm applying for another research job today. That's the one I really want. It's only part time, but it also pays between $15 and $20 an hour, which is still way more than I was making working full time for minimum wage. I gotta go print off my resume and cover letter, and then take them somewhere to have them put on fancy paper. It's pissing rain and I don't want to do any of that because I have to walk everywhere.

I hate looking for work. The only thing worse than unemployment is... you know, employment.

My ex boss just called me and she's going to drive me around to do some of my job hunting-ness. Hooray!

Edit: I requested this book for inter-library loan a few days ago, and it's already in for me to pick up. Today is shaping up to be a pretty good day.
