Yesterday afternoon I went over to my friend Billy's house to pick up my free tickets for Hell's Bells (!!!!) and afterwards I decided to stop by my friends John and Kate's place since they live about a block away from Billy. I got there and I was taking off my leather jacket, revealing my SG hoodie and John started freaking out, it was hilarious. Turns out he knows all about SG from the Probot video and was going on and on about how awesome the site was, though he is apparently not a member. It was especially funny because he's usually super cool and laid back and doesn't get excited about stuff. Then I told him I was hanging with Synnove the night before and he almost lost it. Hahaha. 
Yesterday our roommate informed us that she wants to move out on May 1, or June 1 at the very latest. This pretty much means that we need to move too, because we can't really afford to stay here either. This sucks, but it's so expensive I'm franky surprised we managed to stick it out here as long as we have. This is the longest I've lived anywhere (close to 2 years) other than the house I grew up in. Boo! The good news is that there will be no more roommate, just BobbyBeef and me. I think we're going to look at places on the north side to save money... not living downtown will blow (especially not being able to walk to friends' houses, the liquor store and various bars in under 15 minutes), but as long as it's on the bus route I suppose I'll live.

oooh and the show last night was awesome. the constantines were really good, i was happy to finally see them live after hearing lots about them. their bassist = laziest, coolest bassist EVER. the weakerthans were really good too. i was so sore from standing up for so long though.
also - sucks you have to move out... i hate how cheap everything is on the northside, it should be cheap on this side too dammit. i can't complain though, my rent will be reeeeally cheap when i move in with the boys.
