In other news... so conflicted...
I got a call this morning from my old boss over at the Department of Environment and Local Government. Seems they want me back this summer... which should be fantastic news, since it is my dream job. Some of you may remember that I basically worked for about two hours out of the days (sometimes less) and the rest of the time I spent sitting on my ass in a cushy chair in an air-conditioned government office surfing the internet. Anyhoo, the problem is that I already have another job offer in the same vein as the research assistant work I'm doing now. Which is awesome, since I'll get experience copy-editing and stuff, but the pay is going to be at least $3 less per hour ($6.50 as opposed to $9.50+) than what I could make with the government. So you can see the bind I'm in. Boo!
But... my awesome Pixies cover band has another show lined up in SJ on April 1st.
