Not much new to report. Aoife came to visit me yesterday, so I took her drinking. We went to see this guy, who is the shizzle, ma nizzle. Aoife is for some reason convinced that my town is crawling with cute boys, but I dunno... maybe I've just lived here so long that I don't see them anymore. Anyway, too much money was spent, too much beer was drunk, but a good time was had by all.

No word yet on the barista job at the other corporate coffee shop. I hear the manager won't be in until after the long weekend, so I'll have to wait until then to see if I'm good enough to sling their coffee.

I am on a huge carrot cake binge lately. I ordered a huge ass piece at a restaurant last night, but I couldn't finish it all due to drinking beer and eating greasy fish and chips before it arrived. Then I bought an entire carrot cake at the grocery store today. Mmm... carrot cake.

Speaking of food, I am lovin' this group.
