So I'm taking this intro psychology class this semester because I need another social science credit at the 1000 level to gadgeate. Anyhoo... yesterday the prof was talking about IQ tests and the way in which one's ethnicity seems to affect the score. For example, black folks tend to score lower than average, while asian folks tend to score higher than average. Us white people usually score somewhere in the middle. I guess that means we're "just right".
Then she started throwing out ideas about why this might be, including attributing the fact that asian people tend to perform better on standardized tests to the fact that asian parents usually put a lot of pressure on their kids to do well in school. WTF?!?! I couldn't belive that she was using a racial stereotype to explain this, and she didn't even say anything about it being a stereotype... seems kinda racist to me. What do you think?
Questions about clothes:
1. I own 4 pairs of pants that I wear regularly, and all but one were pre-faded when I bought 'em brand new. What do you think of faux-vintage clothing?
2. Tell me about your favourite t-shirt.
3. Do you fold your laundry and put it away, or do you just have various piles of clothing on your bedroom floor?

1. I think that buying Abercrombe with holes and faded rips is just wrong. I think this because of the price. If you get something like this from the thrift store on the other hand, it's smart shopping.
2.As of now I dont have a favorite shirt or hoody. It's a shame, I know. I have plenty of both, but I like them all the same. Not bad, but not in love. I do have a Zoo York shirt from 1995 and a WuTang clan shirt that's even older that I own but are too ugly and torn to wear outside of the house.
3.Im definitely a fold a put away guy. I wish I had a steamer and a air freshner for my clothes to make them perfect when I put them on.
