I started a new job today. Not the good one, another one. I'm allowing myself to become convinced that it is a good place to work. Their coffee tastes like bleach, which I guess is why it was free today. I want to get promoted to the Ritz Carlton section so I can hear all kinds of dirt on celebrities. My friend Jeff talked to Ben Affleck once. No shit. He didn't like his hotel room, apparently. I don't know the details of this and it may be a lie.

Being up early is not so bad. I'm waiting for last night's Daily Show and Colbert Report to download.

I think my new job will lead to irritability and increased dependence on things like sugar, junk food, caffine and cigarettes. But not alcohol. Problaby not.
