It has been a rather long time since I updated this, and in the last few updates, I have not done a damn thing but give a brief glimpse into a few months of life. I shall elaborate on the Tokyo trip, finally, and try to upload pics. I happened to be in northern Japan (Misawa-Aomori Prefect) because of a deployment with the Navy. I was offered 4 days in Tokyo, for a very low price, s, being me, and cheap, and wanteing to get out of 4 days of work, I signed my happy ass up and payed $150 for 4 days and 4 nights in the New Sanno hotel. Most of trip was rather uneventful. Spent some time with the group in Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, and tried to get the Ropongi at night for the clubs and bars, but everyone kept punking out on me, so I went alone, and din't do anything but wander around for a few hours, but I do know the lay of the land reletively well, and found a spot on sushi bar. Went tothe top of Tokyo Tower (the one from Godzilla), awsome view, but of course, my $500 camera that I bought for the trip because I am a tech junkie, didn't and still doesn't take pictures for shit if here is even the slightest bit of movement in the photographer's hand. I had to get rid of over half the pics I took becaue they were all unrecognisable blurs. I know that my speling is horrid, but well, such is the curse of being a male who like to use big words, but can't boher to look them up for proper spelling. I do believe that those are the highlights of the trip, except for the 100% silk Kimono I decidd to aqcuire for myself. Very nice, and couldn't be happier, unfortunately it is in Ohio, and I am in Bahrain, not very helpful is it. Bu soon, oh so soon I shall be out of the Navy, and free once again to toil away with the rest og huminaty at a low paying job with no benefits and little satisfaction. Yet still, I shall be free to get allthe peircings I have avoided and put off for the last four years, all the tats I couldn't get becuae of the military, and let my friggin' hair grow. There is no substitute for just not cutting one's hair as a way to be free, to me at least, after having so many restrictions on my behavior and personal appearance. Thjough I have gotten many good things and much travel rom my time in, I shall now be an average working class guy, and make a road trip cross country in September to see all of favourite people, if anyone wants to join or act as a stop along thw way, it would greatly be appreciated, and wonderful to meet some of the people that I have spoken to here. I shall go now.
