Hey everyone!
It kinda feels like ages since I've been able to update on here, but I guess all in all it hasn't really been that long...
Before New Year's, Trillance and I worked on shooting a set at our friends house. We kinda threw a plan together for the set last minute, but I have to say, once we'd developed one I got really excited about it! We were going to use some cigarettes for a couple of shots. I got laughed at when I went to the store and said "Umm...I just need the smallest, cheapest pack of cigarettes, whatever's on sale right now, or whatever..." I felt like such a dweeb....I had no idea what to ask for (that was officially my first time EVER purchasing cigarettes...). Unfortunately it was wayyyy too cold for me to do the shots out on the balcony, so we didn't even get to those shots. But we're gonna go back and finish the set in a few weeks when hopefully it's a tad warmer outside.
For New Year's we went down to Palm Springs, which was totally gorgeous the entire time (mid-70s during the day). New Year's was pretty much a non-event (as per usual in my family)... we went for a late dinner and fell asleep before midnight! I did, however, set the alarm on my phone to go off at midnight so I could wish my fiance a happy New Year! All in all it was a pretty chill weekend - we hung out, wandered around Palm Springs (see pictures below), went to a hilarious drag show on Sunday night. The we got up at 4:30 AM Monday to drive to LA. I pretty much spent my day Monday hanging out in Starbucks, sitting on the computer and 'shopping these pics:
