If anyone in the bay area is interested in buying a corn snake please contact me. We have 10 corns of different color varieties, but unfortunately we're going to be moving in with a housemate and won't be able to keep the snakes. Send me a message if you're interested, please. Anywho, I just wanted to give a brief update. Everything is good with me now - I enjoyed my recluse time, got a lot of reading done. Thanks for the kind words of support in response to my last blog, I really appreciate it.
The kitten, who I have now named "Beans" (only partly because he farts a lot....
), seems to have FINALLY figured out the whole litter box deal and is using it reliably. But that was only after I forked over an arm and a leg for "Cat Attract" litter, which I highly recommend if you're having potty troubles with your kitty. But it is expensive! 
I'm getting pretty jazzed for my trip back to Ontario and Ohio which will be the first two weeks of August. And we just booked a super awesome trip to Vegas for labor day weekend, which happens to coincide with restaurant week there, so I'm hoping to have at least one super stupendous meal there. Anyway, super excited!
