Today was a good day. I went to my classes and I got let out of my Media& Crime class. My professor came up to me and asked me if I was present in one of her other classes when she showed material about the three strikes law. I have already seen the video and she let me out of class, I think I was the only one she asked, which was a little strange. But oh well! After class I took a nap and then went to my victimless crimes class. I learned today that if you are a woman walking around an area that has street hookers and you have a purse full of condoms, you can get arrested for posession of criminal tools. Wierd huh? I thought that was pretty funny, these crazy laws of ours! But I have to catch up on my reading in that class, I have to finish a book called "Drug Crazy" and start the books " Tricks and Treats: Confessions of escorts" and " The Tearoom Trade: Sex in Public Places". What the hell does my professor have us reading? I love my major!
I am excited about this weekend, my friend is having her art show andhereticam and I can go. Also Saturday is the AFS potluck, which seems like it will be fun. Hooray! And of course the reason I am sooo excited...HARRY POTTER IS OPENING THIS WEEKEND! Awesome!
