Well this weekend was a lot of fun! hereticam and I drove down to Austin to meet up with my friend Meredith, Sean ( her brother) and Sara ( his girlfriend). Unfortunately for me hereticam and I couldnt get a ride from Merediths friends to Shiner because they bailed out on us! So as a result we had to drive my car down there, but fortunately for me Meredith can drive standard, so she drove my car (phew!).
We got into town and to the campgrounds and set up camp. Then we all got our chairs and lounged around drinking and talking. After a while our neighbors arrived with the BIGGEST camper I have ever seen! They were driving a semi in order to haul this two story camper, it was very impressive. Then once they got settled we met all the neighbors, I think there were 10 or 11 guys. They had tons of beer because they are beer distributors, so everyone got nice and drunk. Also some policemen came and hung out with us for a while. They were really cool and some of the guys were joking around with them. One of the guys said some smartass comment to the policeman and the policeman said " off the record, fuck you guys! On the record, have a nice weekend!". It was soooo funny, and of course the cop was joking, definitely something I will remember! Then we all combined our efforts for a cookout, ate dinner, then smores, and went to bed.
The next morning we all had breakfast and then hereticam and I headed into town to get some supplies like ice etc. When we were driving through town we saw a church sign that was condemning the music festival. One line from the sign said Jesus saves, what has Audioslave ever done for you?. After laughing at this stupid sign we headed back to the camp and then went to the concert. The show was lots of fun, and there was a ton of beer there. So there were drunk people everywhere, it was really funny. hereticam and I walked around and tried different foods at the booths and finally ausdioslave played, it was a great show.
We went back to the campsite and there was a fireworks display which was cool. Once everyone got back from the show( including our neighbors and some of Merediths friends) we all hung out. hereticam and I got to bed around 2am and didnt get much sleep because of all the crazy drunken fights, laughter and talking. And on top of it I woke up in the middle of the night freezing and having to go to the bathroom, I felt bad for waking hereticam up ( because I didnt want to walk to the bathrooms by myself there were a ton of crazies outside the tent!), but we went and came back and it took forever to get to sleep.
The next morning we packed everything up and headed back. It was a great trip and a great time. Unfortunately I got back to my apartment to see that the water heater had broken and all my stuff was moved everywhere. Also the downstairs neighbor had blamed us and said that we were fat and shook the apartment and that is why the water heater broke. Also she added that we needed to drink slimfast. WTF! That was totally out of line and I couldnt believe what a stupid bitch this kid was! So I guess I am not sorry at all that the water heater fucked her shit up, in fact I hope her apartment smells like shit. - the end!-
