OK, so last night was a bad night.... my bad, but i figured i'd post my feelings, it IS a "journal," after all.
Today has been blah, nothing really cool going on. The dog I'm watching for my friends decided to be extremely destructive as I slept this morning, he ate two small candles (yes, ATE them, gone) and was licking some cream of my roommates, but I guess it didn't taste so good, he got ahold of beads, disposable razor caps, my ashtray, and my Medix lip balm. Plus, he keeps wanting to go out, so I hook him to the stake-in-the-ground leash and let him out and 5 seconds later he's barking and scratching at the door, but this keeps happening over and over and over... He hasn't eaten any real dog food very much since he came here yesterday morning. He must be sad.
So my guy called me, and we were supposed to go to the As I Lay Dying/Every Time I Die show at the Ottobar, but I called and found out it was sold out. Oh well. I was only gonna go for Jay anyway. They're not my favs, but I do like As I Lay Dying, from what I've heard. So we're supposed to go do something else, but I really just wanna stay in and watch a movie and cuddle up under a blanket. This rainy weather perturbs me, I don't want to go out in it. SO hopefully Jay and I will have a good night, no matter what.
Oh yeah, got a new lip ring, one of those continuous ones, here's a picture:
Yeah, I had my piercer Tim put it in for me since it's difficult for me to do by myself, and he says Oh we need to go bigger. I'm thinking 'OK, a bigger lip ring, to better fit around my lip.' No, he busts out a streching tool and I'm, like 'ugh!' He says 'It's not that bad.' Thing is, Tim ALWAYS says it's not that bad, there's only like two piercings where he'll tell you 'Yeah that fuckin hurts.' STRETCHING SUCKS. Let me just share. SO he gets it in there and I'm good to go. Cool part is, I go there SO MUCH, he gave the ring to me for $10 (instead of $12 or 13, I think) and stretching costs like $15, so even though I didn't ask for it, it was still free and I saved a few bucks.
Tim's my buddy, he's awesome.
