*sigh* so not too much on my plate here today. Being unemployed is wonderful yet stressful at the same time. Tomorrow is my second interview at Hot Topic, with the store manager. Everyone cross your fingers for me, I want to work there in the worst way, even if it's just part time, for that phat-ass employee discount!! Not to mention, I'm sure a good share of hotties wander in there every now and then.
I know it won't pay for shit, but it's a job I can definitely dig on, big time.
I'm so happy for my ex, who by the way his name is Steve, so I don't have to keep saying "my ex".... anyway, he called to tell me his band is going to be on DC 101, a radio station we all get here in Baltimore (even tho it's DC based). They'll play them first on Sunday night between 9-10 p.m., and then get people's reactions, so I have to recruit everyone I know to call in and tell them who fucking awesome Isle of View is. Anyone who cares to help me out, listen to DC 101's streaming radio thing-a-ma-bob on the internet, and call them to tell them you love the song, even if you don't!! I think I'll have a listening party here on Sunday night, that should be cool. And then everyone can use their cell phones to flood the station with calls about the awesome song they just heard!!
Yeah I know, I'm a good ex-wife. What can I say? It's not just Steve, who I think is a phenomenal drummer, I think that band is destined for greatness and I always said it was the best band he was ever in, and I'm glad he got back with them (there was a short hiatus in there for a few months). They'll be a breath of fresh air to the music played on the radio now.
SO, enough ramblimg about my ex!! I am going to hopefully be posting a very hot set in SG Hopefuls here soon. I hope everything goes the direction I want it to, if it does, you'll all be very happy people, I believe!! Very happy indeed. I mean hell, I'M happy with it, so I figured my peeps would be too. More soon, I am hopefully going to visit my new sweetie this evening in his neck of the woods. He always comes to visit me at my house. I think I'll dress super-hot and tease the shit out of him since I know we won't be able to have "alone time." I know, Miss Mercie = Evil ("like the fruits of the devil!" for those of you who can follow me on that quote....) Hugs n kisses, peace out!!
