they say that all's well that ends well and i couldn't agree more. ahhhh, home. sweet home. the last night in margaret river was, how should i put it...? fucked, well the gig was anyway. it must've been 3C degrees and i had to set up outdoors due to capacity restrictions. for six hours!!!! fuck me i froze. came down with a minor cold that night but managed to knock it on the head within 36 hours through natural rememdies and organics. who's the hippy now???? oh, yeah. me.after show/ end of tour parties. rocking fun with my beloved long lost friend, bootleg brewery beers. YUM. i lick that. one room was all es and breakdancing comps, one was all responsible subdued fun and conversations, and one was stoned. i chose the 2nd, being the reformed square i seem to be. anyways 430 was the witching hour which i decided that the 2 hours of sleep i needed in order to be a passenger for the 4 hour drive back to perth for a flight. 630 hits and the bring bring! merchy, could you drive? we're fucked. so yay, just when i thought i'd hung up my driving boots and gloves..... anyway, i got us to freo and record ime and threw the towel back in. and here i am back in brisbane, sold out to ikea with my spanking new record shelving system. nice. i sleep soundly knowing i won't awake to the crackling sound of splintering bookcases and snapping wax.
