IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS AND 2 DAYS SINCE CARA LEFT AUSTRALIA. BUT THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS RETURNING TO MY ARMS WITHIN THE YEARS END.


so, fuck the lot of you who didn't come down to brissies best new live music venue, THE GLOBE.
am i ever in love with the music that wafted into my ears courtesy of (ex SLEATER-KINNEY) Laura MacFarlane, BLOON, and THE GOLDEN CIRCLES.
oh, my fucking god. it was a feast for the senses, not to mention the preliminery feast of veg spag bog. thanks for starting my new habit of tvp, gabs. no longer the lentil bog for me.

taking back a day further to friday evening and what could have easily been a disaster of their first "real" gig, (do you count the indie temple and the alliance? thought not)THE ELECTRIC SPURS had an awesome gig with people dancing and shit. the venue sound guy pulled out sick and it all looked pear shaped for them, but a good samaritan stepped in and NAILED the set.

nice one benny benson, and mystery sound-dude. you saved me from making soup of the set with the sound. i mean, really. a merch bithch at the desk???? yeah, right.

so off to tofu scram for us with our red wine cotton wool heads.

yes, camera phones are cool. I got one for my 19th (and them put it through the washing machine, and had to buy a new one). They do come in handy if you want to take a photo. Mind you, me and my photographer ways always have my EasyShareDX6490 digital camera with me.

And thanks, its not easy but after 8 years its good to know whats wrong, and even though it snot cureable, it is treatable.
