Ever read one of those books that makes you go, "Holy shit!"
The other night, I read a book called I Wrote This For You. I picked it up on Amazon.com for my Kindle Fire and plowed through it in a little over an hour. I would like to say it was "that good", but it's also an amazingly quick read.
So, the book? It's a collection of poetry, prose, and photographs that deal with love and loss, life and death. All told, they make for some interesting and insightful musings that often times touched me (good tough) and left me thinking. Plus, I have stolen more than one or two lines for my Facebook status -- because, if something has already been said, why waste time trying to say it better?
If you're interested in random thoughts, definitely check out this book. It's cheap if you have a Kindle and well worth the read.
