milkwhite skin in a milkbath
the soft sounds of water and humming
hands clean clavicles

fingertips trace ears
lips shoulders chins fingers palms

sounds of breath and water
bodies shift and turn
there's milk on our skin
and there's milk in our hair
and there's milk that we drink when we kiss
and there's milk inside us, around us when we join

we're left with the soft sounds of water and humming
eyes closes, entwined and exhausted
