nine hours of sleep in forty-eight hours time, making thirty-nine hours of functional time.

the good news comes in the form of something like nine hours of amazing dream-laden sleep last night

though i'm still feeling like i could nap for a few more hours.

oh, and i slammed my toe into the floor hard last night nearly tripping away from what the corner of my eye thought was a neighborhood cat somehow slipping past me in my bedroom. i was tired. so very tired. it was 3 am.

if all works out, today could be so very enjoyable. it probably won't. life is not congruous right now.

i'd say more, but it is now time for a slice of pie, so everything else

can wait.

Outside of Touchstone Coffeehouse, name another really good coffee place, maybe one with cafe food for me to take her to first thing off the plane. mad

brother mine, I know of what you speak. Far too often have I found myself coming to the s l o w realization that I've been awake for more than 40 hours. The feeling of falling asleep after being awake that long is what I think lethal injection must feel like - a kind of slow, narcotic, hazy, beautiful sink into total unconsciousness. Mmm - I'm going to be tortured by that before too long here. Pie sounds really good right now.
