So last night was my weekly open mic. It's just a Spoken Word night. Nothing special, no features no great act other than what people bring in with them.

But last night was very cool. A very full house and at least two-thirds of the people there were not connected to one of the poets. They had just heard that my show was very cool and they wanted to see it. All that I spoke with said they would be back and they would bring friends.
