So Earlier this week I did the gig at the Christian Church (Some background here...I am a decidedly anti-christian agnostic and was asked to do this by a clergyman who knew this...he paid me too).
Our theme was "No matter how great your sin, no matter who you are, you can be redeemed if you accept Jesus"
"What about Pilot?" I asked the group about the Roman who had sentenced Jesus to death, "If he had become a Christian would he have been forgiven?"
Yes, the loudly and universally answered.
"What about Judas who betrayed him?"
Yes, again, just as loud.
"So ANYBODY can be saved no matter who they are, if they accept Jesus, is that correct?"
YES! even louder this time.
So I asked, "What if Satan were to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior?"
Absolute silence
