Okay...Time to do my yearly Valentine's Day Expose'
That thing we all know as the Valentine Heart ,you know this thing in the eyes of this icon
It is NOT heart. I have seen thousands of human hearts and they don't look like this.
Because it isn't a heart.
Think about it. If you were starting from scratch, had no social reference (only biological reference) and you were going to select an organ to represent love, which organ would you pick?
What we think of as a HEART is, in fact, a depiction of a Vulva, engourged, open and inviting.
However our chaste forebearers decided Vulvae were something we shouldn't be looking at, and so they said "This is a Heart"
So anyway...Happy Vulva Day
