Okay so I have a conflict. Just yesterday I posted here that I was going to the Palo Alto Poetry Slam to compete. Maybe win some money (You gotta be an optimist about these things).
However I just realized that I made a commitment to Lorin Partridge

who is hosting a jello wrestling show at the First Street billiards in San Jose.
Not only did I tell him I would be there but he is working on some illustrations for one of my stories and this would be a chance to go over it with him.
I can't do both slam and jello wrestling. Since I made the commitment to Lorin I will probably wind up there, but it would be nice to win some money.
