So I have booked the next two features for my little open mic poetry show at the bikini/lingere coffee bar.
This Saturday the featured poet is Aaron Gardner. He was a team-mate of mine on the 2001 San Jose Slam team and he has some amazing poetry. He doesn't slam anymore but he agreed to read for me so I am very stoked about this.
On Saturday the 28th of August I got Mack Dennis. Mack is an incredible story teller and poet. He has plenty of things to tell stories about too. He was a member of the Black Panthers back in the day. He was one of the first black bus drivers in New Orleans and he continues to be involved in the anti-war movement. Check him out at
