THE MEAN TREE Will be coming soon.

After months of labor and frustration, writing and drawing, "The Mean Tree" should (I'm crossing my fingers here) be available by next week. We are in the final stages of preparing it. An excerpt will follow sometimes this week I think.

Every other aspect of my life hasn't been going very well of late (it'll get better though) except...

I am constantly meeting beautiful (and interested) women.

It can be a wild ride, both literally and hypothetically speaking. Just keep your distance till you know her better, and above all be SAFE. There's no one hot enough to risk your life over.

From a practical standpoint...don't carry a lot of cash and hide the credit cards. The nicest person in the world can turn into a common thief in a heartbeat if the monkey is pounding on their back. Even if you find yourself 6mos or 6 years
from now seeing the same person, just remember "recovered" addict does not mean "cured". Whether it's booze or horse, the old demons can come back any time.

Date with hippie chick went well. Not a lot of talking but some moaning in her van (her place of residence)

date with Japanese Graduate Student was a sit and talk at the coffee shop thing. Fun

I think I'm meeting with the Vietnamese Business Student today but I haven't heard back from her, so we'll see if she makes the meeting place today.
