Somebody Help!
So as anyone who actually reads this stuff will know I've started driving lessons and last week I was driving 'round a carpark to get used to the steering or something which was a bit monotonous I must say but the funniest thing was when the guy who owned the BMW in the car park came back and saw me driving 'round the car park he had this look of absolute terror on his face I don't think he would've been more scared if I had a machinegun and a bunch of grenades in my hands.
That's what It's All About
My manager Dangerous ( we call him that since half the stuff that gets thrown away or goes wrong is down to him) went to another store the other week for a few weeks and he came in to see me and Rich the other day to see how we're dealing with his absence. The first thing he says is "You'd hate it there fella no totty at all" I suppose you'd say one of the bonuses of working in a mall is you get a lot more customers and a vast majority of them are students and the like which translates to lots of "totty" as Dangerous would say. I have to say it takes a lot for me to notice a girl as opposed to Dangerous who probably thinks Necrophilia is perfectly acceptable. I think there's a fine line between looking sexy and just looking like a skank that's my opinion anyway I see it most Saturday nights after I finish work the hordes of men in there identikit jeans and shirt outfits looking like some army sent forth to procreate with the indigenous females.
Question Of Authority
We got this new guy working on our department the other week who usually works on grocery and the guy is really starting to grate my cheese. I'd say I'm a pretty easy guy to work with but it really gets to me when people just seem to ignore what you say. I ask him to do something and half the time I come back half an hour later and it still isn't done and he blatantly takes the piss with his breaks and it just gets me so frustrated the guy's getting paid the same amount of money as me and yet I'm constantly having to clean up his mess. I know I don't have a great job and this may sound a bit pathetic but I like to think I'm good and I like to think that my area of the store is good even if the rest of the store is a fucking mess so it really annoys me when you get someone who just can't be bothered half the time. Me and Rich who I work with were saying how it would be better if he wasn't there at all really, it's got to the point where I just don't give a fuck whether he likes me or not, he's starting to make me think we were better of before when Dangerous was here before he went to Wakefield the other week and that's saying something

i work in a grocery store and learning to do a bit (or a lot) of everything.
warehouse, deliveries, stacking shelves, moving things about, helping customers, and everything in between.
shorter hours than my previous job, but a whole lot tiring.
Of course, as someone who doesn't go to bed until 5am or even later, I do think it's insane to wake up at that time.
