So i went and saw Alice in Chains last night at the NOKIA theater and it was STELLER!
except for some old man sitting behind me and my friend calling my friend "huey" and telling him to sit down.. wich we both ignored the whole time... and me making this older lady that was seated next to me break down in to tears... i'm not really sure why....maybe it wasn't me.. but i will post the converstation we had word for word (as i can remeber it)
Before the show started:
ladie: "HI! i'm so excited! how long have you been an alice in chain fan?"
me: (quietly) " oh a year or two, i guess, you?"
ladie:FOREVER (insert babble about past albums)
my Friend: ( insert more babble about past albums that he knows more about than i do)
ladie: "Lane Staley's (former alice in chain's singer now deceased) words allways spoke to me.. they put me in a special place... kind of like the band Heart. what about you? (to me)"
Me: "i don't know the band Heart"
ladie:" YOU DON'T KNOW HEART!?.. wait.. how old are you?"
me: "nineteen"
ladie: (after a long moment of looking me over) " your so cute! is he your boyfriend?"
me: (still quietly) no... we're just friends..
ladie: (another long moment of looking me over) " your so cute. i have a daughter you age. what do you like to do?you remind me of that girl on (insert name of some tv show or movie that i have never seen) "
me: ( a little more vibrantly) thanks, i have to admit though i don't watch tv so i don't know who your talking about... i guess i like to write music and read really.. thats really what i center my life around
ladie: " yes you really do remind me of my daughter.. she's like you.. she goes to Rice (VERRY NICE COLLEGE IN HOUSTON) where do you go to college at?"
me: "oh just a local community college.."
Alice in chains starts and kicks some ass with the new lead singer who's SO sexy!
( i stand up and start jumping around a little bit)
Ladie : (looking worried) "what is this?"
Me: "umm couldn't tell you... all my c.d's are burned.. i know its number 4 on my c.d though! (little laugh)
two songs later
Ladie "what is this..?"
Me: (growing slightly anoyed at this stilly question which i'm not real sure what kind of answer she wants) uhh... Alice in Chains?
promptly after that the ladie switches seats with the man she is there with sits down in her chair puts her head in her lap and dosen't move for the rest of the night. even when i have to get by to use the restroom i have to topple over her...and even when we leave... when my friend leaves behind me.. he asks the man that the laddies is with what is wrong but he said that he just shurged..
so at any rate the show was kick ass!
but i can't for the life of me figure out what i said to upset this ladie so!
i'm not going to let it bother me but nothing i said seems worthy of being upset over at all....
i hate how we can create negitive actions with out meaning to.
it hurts...
stupid emotional people...
any ideas about what made this lady put on the tear fest?

... Which gives me a great idea for a photoshoot, now that I think about it. *sketching idea on paper before I forget*
Anyhoo, it's 4 AM over here and I should be heading to bed. I've got to head to town to get my camera checked out tomorrow, seems there's dust on the digital sensor :-P
