I'm going to Malta next spring. There isn't much that excites me more than schooling someone on international travel. They're always so nervous the first time...they don't really know where to go or what to do. It's like I'm taking their virginity all over again.
Right now the plan is to go next March. The weather should be perfect, and the bright blue Mediterranean beaches uncrowded.
Fifteen days until I am baking under the Vegas sun. I need to figure out how to play craps. I had a hooker try and teach me last time I was there. I had trouble concentrating on the game so it didn't stick.
I'm starting to come to terms that no matter how hard I try, there isn't a chance in hell I will be able to save up enough money for grad school in August '05. I don't want to work so essentially I'll need enough cash to pay rent, bills, car payment, food, smokes, tuition, and fun money for a year. I make too much money to qualify for a grant, so I will need to be unemployed for a full year before I can qualify for any help from the man. What does that mean? I need to raise about 10K to survive a year without a job. Not bloody likely. *sigh* I REALLY don't want to take out a loan, but I don't see any other way.
