Yesterday morning I saw the Dalai Lama speak. It was pretty damn rad. He talked about compassion and monkeys and boobies. His English was pretty bad so he was kind of hard to understand, but what I caught was some pretty rad stuff.
I had one more dream about pirates before they finally stopped. I figured out why I had Pirates on my brain. I've been reading The Scar by China Mieville. It's a great book that is chalk full of Pirates. Problem was they weren't pirates in the traditional sense so it was easy to overlook.

i've seen documentaries that show him speaking english reallly well. i still need subtitles though.
