Devils & Dolls, Missionaries & Privates it is I your dear Mena Von Fleisch!
I've completed my first tour of duty and I couldn't possibly be beaming any brighter!
The entire show went off without a hitch! All the acts were fantastic and I somehow pulled my wits and put on a performance that earned me tonnes of praise from the fans and my troop.
I couldn't imagine a better feeling than this. I have truely found a niche, a creative outlet, between the site and the troop creatively I will be well taken care of for a loooong time.
As it is Pink Velvet is very active.
The ideas keep streaming for sets and for performances I am so excited to make them all materialize.
I have a photo shoot booked with local talent Mark Anthony Ramsay for May 09/06 when I get back from Toronto.
I am also lucky enough to have a shoot booked when I am in Toronto with the wonderfully talented Oryx (whom I am desperately trying to get in contact with to get an address and phone number, Oryx, darling where are you?)
I am thinking about replacing my current set which has been 'Waiting to be Queued' for two monthes with the one I shoot with Oryx as it will have a more obvious theme and be more intresting than the one currently waiting in the wings, and as most of us limbo girls, I am starting to get impatient and want to imporve my chances of going live soon.
I met the darling Mneylu this weekend as she was a candy girl at our show. She is truely a doll. I also caught up with my lover Suspiria and we got to catch up. She is so bootiful, and happy I was estatic to see her in such a way. We are planning a set together that you guys will love I can promise you that!! We are just waiting for our costumes to come in.
Speaking of my Elvis costume is on the way for the Vegas themed Burlesque show with Teasers. I have been having a hell of a time getting a hold of anyone what I am supposed to be choreographing my act with so I am just going to put as much together as I can and contact the troop choreographer for helpful hints and hope that me and my ghouls make contact soon as the show is on May 13/06!
Not much else to report...just keeping busy.
The business with my cousin has been sorted out and she appeared in court this morning was sentenced to 8 monthes probation and flown back to Toronto and taken into police custody at her mother's request. So hopefully things will get better for her and she will realize there is more to life than pot, and a sorry excuse for a boyfriend that would let you go down for his drug debt.
I am getting ready for my trip, and anxious to meet the idolized ZOMBIEQUEEN at her House of Horrors. She is graceful enough to plan a visit with me while I am down there.
I will also be spending a great deal of time getting inked by Amanda D, I am just awaiting a design to review allthough I am sure it'll be all I wanted and more, I am a big fan of her art work and know that she can ink so it's all the makings for a great investment.
That reminds me about the morgage, we got one, but not for the amount we needed
but as they say and I believe everything happens for a reason so we'll know when the time in right. In the meantime we will just spend our money paying off bills, saving and shopping. Like all good kids do.
