Man, the holidays wore me down. It really should be a time to rest, reflect, and enjoy the company of friends and family, but it's not quite that anymore. I don't really know what it is now, but I don't like it.
It's been a pretty bad month so far. My aunt was tragically shot and killed, and my best friend is in intensive care after getting into a head on collision with a drunk driver. Events like this make you realize how precious every day of life is, and how foolish we are for taking every day for granted.
