My boss is on vacation for eleven days and we are all pretty happy about that at the shop. He's generally a great guy to work for, but lately, not so much. Hopefully, he'll come back refreshed an have a renewed outlook on his business and his employees.
Friday, we celebrated my wife's birthday. Originally, we were going out for sushi, but we switched it up at the last minute, and went for Thai food instead. It was delicious! Afterwards, I took her to her favorite shoe store, and bought her whatever she wanted. Shoes are the way to her heart.
I was really excited to find a deluxe hard bound edition of The Stranger by Camus the other day. It's probably my favorite book for a lot of reasons. My paperback copy that I've had since college was lost. It was likely lent out and never returned. Anyway, I'm glad to have a new copy, and no one is ever going to borrow this one!
My baby boy is doing great! At 18 weeks, he ways 14.6 pounds and got a great report at the doctor last week. He continues to bring me tremendous joy on a daily basis.
