The holidays are really dumb. I'm all for spending time with the family, eating food and sharing gifts. What's really aggravating is the store that open in the weeee hours of the morning after Thanksgiving. Even more bizarre is the people who wait in line outside those stores to get a DVD player for $10, and then get mad when they run out. No wonder they call it Black Friday.

I've spent my career in retail, can you tell? I'm not bitter or anything. At least the bike shop doesn't get nutso like most places do. Still, I'm finding it harder to get into the holiday spirit. Having a brand new baby certainly helps, though. Next year, when he's able to enjoy it a little more, it'll be even better.

Speaking of the baby, Cooper has been an absolute joy. Despite a little lack of sleep here and there, I'm reminded every day of why I'm here. It's hard to describe what having a kid does to you. Yesterday, he got his first shots. I think it was harder for me than it was for him! Anyway, I'll leave you with a few pics.
