I had a pretty uneventful weekend. Saturday was crazy at work, and Sunday was a day of yard work and spring cleaning. Today is another day off, but the weather is kind od wacky right now... crazy thunder showers with the possibility of tornados.

I'm nearly finished reading Fight Club. I loved the movie, but the book is much better. At first, my mind had trouble separating what I was reading from images in the movie, but that went away. That being said, the movie was a great adaptation of the book.

So, I'm looking for something new and interesting to read. Any suggestions?

I know, I know I haven't updated in forEVER. Work is steadily going downhill. They are starting to get rid of the people who aren't selling and bring in brand new people who will. They have gotten rid of regional managers that have been with the company for 15+ years. It is scary especially since I am in a slow location that doesn't produce any new sales really. I applied for a supervisor position in a non sales department of my company hoping to save my job and they called me yesterday and said they only interviewed the three most qualified people. They didn't even ask what my qualifications were before decided that other people would be better. I am more than qualified for that position. Needless to say it kinda ticked me off since that was my last chance to get a promotion with this company probably before they eliminate my position. Anyway, I guess I will stop my ranting and go eat some breakfast. Glad to hear you are doing well.

Well, I don't know what kind of books you like to read, but I really enjoyed Church of Dead Girls by Stephen Dobyns, which is sort of a small town murder mystery. I also liked Lightning and Watchers be Dean Koontz. Lighting had a lot of action and time travel and stuff and was pretty cool. Its about trying to change the past and its reprocussions as well as the ability to change someone's fate. Just some thoughts.
