I did a pretty funny thing today (in retrospect). Although I never eat popcorn, for some reason I was craving it this afternoon. Not being very savvy with microwave popcorn, I threw it in the microwave (apparently for too long). When something started to smell funny empathy_girl found the popcorn and bag on fire in the microwave. Luckily, we were able to get it out and throw it outside in the snow. Can I just tell you what a stench burnt popcorn leaves in your house? It's not good!

In other news, we had a pretty kick ass party on Saturday night. I drank many beers, and got to hang out with some people I haven't seen for a while. I also realized that I play darts really well when I'm drunk (I was undefeated that night at Cricket). When the party started to break up, me and some of the boys played drunk Halo 2. Not so good at that when drunk.

The other day, I picke up the new Belle and Sebastian Album The Life Pursuit. I definately give it two thumbs up. Ihad reall high expectations, and wasn't disappointed. Also, to balance out my love for folky emo alt indy rock, I bought AC/DC Back In Black. Sometimes AC/DC just sounds really good cranked up loud.
