Mmmmm. I love the smell of freshly melted snowboard wax! I got the board all ready to go today, and dug out all my other snowboarding gear. I'm heading to the mountain tomorrow to hit the slopes for the first time of the year, and I got a coupon for a free lift ticket to boot! There's already a 36 inch base and all the slopes are open with all the lifts running. It should be fun, but I'm kinda bummed out that I have to go by myself. All my snowboarding friends have to work. Too bad, cause it's always more fun to go with someone.
I just went outside. It's 26 degrees and snowing a little. Everything is so incedibly quiet and peaceful. No noise, no cars, just a peaceful silence and snow. Despite the atmosphere, I feel anxious and uneasy, and I don't know why. It's 1 AM and I can't sleep. I think I'll brew some tea, try to relax, and read a little.

I need to get up there to go snowboarding with you and the lil lady, fo sho! didnt realize ya'll did that....unfortunately, it's probably going to be another season of rental for me, as I cant afford my own equiptment just yet....hows work going for ya?
