I'm really not looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. I have to go to dinner at my in-laws house. They're still not talking to me since I left the family business back in September. It's going to make for some awkward holidays. At least I won't have to spend dinner talking about how the store will survive through the busy Christamas shopping season.
It is pretty crazy that Christmas is right around the corner. I'm never looking forward to the holidays, but I'm especially not looking forward to this one. Things are going to get tough financially.
Today, I got my haircut, and I feel good. No bike riding since the weather is so cold, and I don't have cold weather riding gear yet. The sun is shining, though, and that makes me happy. I'm cooking dinner for empathy_girl tonight. She's been working some really ridiculous hours, and we haven't spent much time together.
I guess that's about all I have to say. I'm off to do my eBay thing. By the way, I recently earned Power Seller status. Guess that means something.
Oh, and by the way, I think Tofurkey should be banned without question.

I am boycotting the in-laws for the rest of my life. She doesn't like me because I took her baby boy away from her and we don't lean on her financially like his bro and sis do, not to mention that we haven't produced any grandkids for her yet. I don't like them, I hink they are greedy, selfish people that like to control everyone else, so why continue with the pleasantries. I really would rather spend the time with my family anyways.
