I got a jury duty notice in the mail. *ugh* Not that I would mind being on a jury BUT I'm a stay-at-home mom of a two year old and will be 8 months pregnant when they want me to serve. I can't afford fucking day-care. Or to have my husband take a day off of work to stay home to watch her while I go serve jury duty. This fucking blows. I wrote them a letter stateing I'll be 8 months along, have a two year old, can't afford day-care, and don't have a license so I'll be at the mercy of the bus schedule if my husband can't take time off of work.. I hope I get excused. Plus who expects a prego lady to hold her pee in till the court allows a break.... That's not healthy or feasible. If they want me to serve that bad they can't expect me to hold it if I have to pee.... *grr*
