So I go into work on Tuesday expecting to work the floor cause I wasn't told otherwise and I'm dressed nice.. Even wore semi-heels... Well I don't work the floor I work in the back... Which irrated me cause someone could have told me so I could have wore more casual stuff... Or at least SNEAKERS.
Then I'm told by a manager that the note I gave them from my doctor (stating that I have pre-opp on the 1st which is when we are going to talk about recovery dates and surgery on the 6th) is't good enough... It's not specific enough for them cause they want specific dates of when I'm leaving (which I told the Store manager is the 1st becuase my doctor wants to do further testing before my surgery so they know exactly where and what they are doing-- since my surgery is going to be with cameras and lazers --they aren't fully opening me up) and the date I am returning (which my doctors office WILL NOT give becuase they don't know how I will recover or how long it will take me)... So yah I have to go get another note with the date I'm leaving and the date I'm returning... Stupid.... The first is when I'm leaving and I don't know when I'm returning and neither does my doctors office... The manger who told me I need a new one said that my doctors office can give a date and if I'm not better by then then we can fill out more paperwork to give me and extended leave...
So add more stress to me thanks... Oh and then when I went in the backroom to continue working one of the employees told me that she heard I need a new note becuase the store manager doesn't belive me! WTF Does she think I made up the whole thing, stole a note pad and wrote my own damn note just to get time off of work? If I wanted time off that bad I would have either asked for it or quit! And how would *EG* know what the managers have been talking about if she's not a manager? That stuff is supposed to be kept confidential and people I work with are only supposed to know anything if I choose tell them....
When I told Derek about this he wanted me to give my notice... Which I am.. Tonight...
Another reason I'm giving my notice is the shift they have me working.. Midnight to 8:30 in the morning... I agreed to do that shift for 1 WEEK and 1 WEEK alone because otherwise I can't sleep... I sleep whenever Chevy takes a nap which is 3 hours... They know I have a kid yet they decide to make that schedule permanent... I can't work that.... For my health or Chevy's.... Just not possible...

My mom says I should call home office and complain but I'm giving my notice tonight so I don't see what good that would do....
