TOMORROW!
Yes, tomorrow is my first Chair Dance class... AS A TEACHER!!
I've been a dance student for a while, and an English teacher for around 7 years, but teaching dance?! OOOOH GOSH, mixed feelings about tomorrow morning! haha
This picture here was taken last year, during a dance festival here in São Paulo, Las Diosas Burlesque, I was the only one who brought a chair dance number to it and it was awesome! This was my fist chair dance solo choreography and it kinda became "my song" when it comes to dancing (btw, the song chosen was AC/DC's Back in Black - who says you can dance to rock n roll, baby?!?!)
Now, I'll be able to teach others all about it, all the crazy movements, acrobatic stuff and all, and I'm super exited! There'll be about 4 girls for the first class tomorrow, which will be a class for them to get to know the dance, the school, the class and they'll decide if they stay or just forget about it. Hopefully, they'll stay and dance with me!
After the class tomorrow I'll update you about it in the comments and tell you how everything went (well, I hope?! lol )
