I have to work a half day Christmas Eve and they are automatically denying any time off requests for that day. Lame. Might as well just have normal hours then. Coming in for half a day sucks.

Yeah, sleep is crazy like that, but I guess it's the circadian rhythm is what they call it, and ours is based around being awake during the day, and doing things at that time, so when you start to mess with it, you feel it...hard!
