i'm going to limerick, ireland in less than a week! i'm so excited, i've never even been to another state, let alone another country. it's gonna be good to get away from everything, especially work. i've just been so pessimistic about waking up every morning just to do the same thing. break my back for my boss who treats his employees like trash.. i mean he's a nice guy but he could give a shit if his employees make dirt cheap wages. and he jokes about it. work makes me feel like life sucks, ain't that the truth? seriously, work to live, live to work.. it's a devastating cycle, unless you like your job. i'm one of the unlucky majority who end up taking what they can get because they didn't go to college or find something they're really good at. i really need to take a break.

I feel you on work. It sucks feeling like you're pissing away the best years of your life and don't have anything to show for it. You're still so young. I haven't even figured out what I want to do for the long term. Even though I have a better job now, I don't want to piss my life away sitting at a desk all day. And I don't think anyone has to. It's a matter of finding what you love, forming a strategy for making a living at it and then busting your ass to make it work.
