I usually get pop songs stuck in my head when I prefer them not to be stuck there. I listen to so much music from oldies to metal to country to pop and hip hop so everywhere I am I might be quoting a song to someone because a name, an event, or something reminds me of a song so I blurt out a line (sometimes unintentionally) and from then on the song is stuck in my head. The worst is when I hum a soundtrack tune from a game or movie and cannot remember what it's from. That happens a lot with films like Jurassic Park, Gremlins, or old 80s horror flicks. Something triggers the tune and my mind goes blank when I try to think of what it came from. It usually take a day or two (or a dream) to remind me just where it came from.
